Mangawhai Annual Summer Gala

The Mangawhai Annual Summer Gala Day is held on 02 January every year.

This day is designed for three main purposes:
1) provide the Mangawhai Community and visitors a fun carnival atmosphere with events, entertainment, rides, food and shopping ;
2) give stallholders and concessionaires a great merchandising opportunity;
3) fund raising for the Domain (more than 70% of our routine annual income is from Gala Day.

Our attendance is now about 7000 each year.

The event is run entirely by about 100 volunteers and with significant support by the business community.
