View the magnificent Waipoua Forest, home to one of New Zealands largest kauri trees, Tane Mahuta. The afternoon is spent on board the Crossings boat in the beautiful and secluded Hokianga harbour, home to both early Maori & European settlements. The tour stops at points of historical interest and concludes at Rawene, the Hokianga’s oldest European settlement from where you return to Pahia, then back to Russell by ferry. 

Time then to relax and enjoy your wonderful five star accommodation - soak in outdoor baths and wander through the quaint village of Russell in the serene setting of the bay.

Flagstaff Lodge
