e-Learning in Practice: Technologies and Tools for Transforming Learning. At the second Regional e-Learning Symposium attendees will find out how technology can transform and empower learning. The symposium will provide an invaluable insight into international, national and regional trends in learning technology. Peter Looms will share his extensive experience in strategic planning for new media.

Through a series of presentations, workshops, and case studies facilitated by nationally and internationally recognised e-learning experts, you will come away with an action plan for developing technology-supported learning solutions.

- Presentation by Peter Looms: The use of the iPad and smartphones such as the iPhone.

- Workshop 1: Brainstorming session on how to make e-learning work for the students and staff.

- Workshop 2: Where to from here - an action plan.
