14th Annual Opera in the Garden
This year Opera North presents a spectacular line-up of International guest artists, Italian soprano Lilia Carpinelli and Italian Pianist Matteo Napoli together with Northland’s own Kawiti Waetford, who has recently enhanced his career with international participation with the Shakespearian academy and performing as guest artist at the NZ Aria concert.
Accompanied by the Opera North singers, the 14th Opera in the Garden is going to become one of the most memorable events yet.
Set in the beautiful garden surroundings of the Kennaway’s Avocado Orchard at Glenbervie the concert takes on a festive atmosphere as everyone is encouraged to bring along a blanket, refreshments for interval, and a keen ear to enjoy the singing and musical accompaniment.
