Our gracious kauri villa offers clean, spacious, home style comfort. Recommended hostel for 2017 by Petit Fute. Excellent facilities. Tucked down a lane off SH 1. Free pick up from buses 9am-5pm. Only 1.5km to the city centre.
Peter and Noell invite you to enjoy all the comforts of home in our historical Kauri villa handcrafted in 1903 when the logging of these mighty trees and digging for their gum transformed Northland. Very comfortable beds with duvets, large common rooms to relax in, two fully equipped kitchens (even a rolling pin for baking!} games and DVDs for rainy days, book exchange, piano and a bath. Pick fresh herbs from the garden for a barbeque or relax on the deck with a glass of wine in the evening sun. Pitch your tent in the garden by native trees. Bring your dive certificate to dive the world famous Poor Knights Islands, your car to enjoy white sandy coastal beaches and your torch to explore glowworms at Abbey Caves.
