Innovation Services supports businesses of all sizes, and at any stage, from start-ups to high-performing leaders in R&D. If you are developing new and innovative products, processes, or services, or have an established R&D programme you want support with, we’d like to hear from you.
The R&D Experience Grant was created to fund innovative businesses to employ tertiary-level students (NZQA levels 6-10) as full-time interns over their summer break. Applications open for a limited time each year. Check the MBIE website for dates.

The New to R&D Grant supports entrepreneurs at the “getting started” stage of their innovation journey.
