R&D Experience Grant
The R&D Experience Grant was created to fund innovative businesses to employ tertiary-level students (NZQA levels 6-10) as full-time interns over their summer break. Applications open 1 July 2025.
You may be aware that Callaghan Innovation is being disestablished.
As part of the Government’s reform of the science, innovation and technology system, many of the grants and support services available through Callaghan Innovation will be transferred to MBIE and other Public Research Organisations.
However, R&D Grants and some support services are still available for the rest of 2025 through Callaghan Innovation.
Andrea Primrose-Netzler is a Growth Advisor with us here at Northland Inc and can help you navigate your way around what support is still available and can advise whether your business is eligible.
Updates on the disestablishment project can be found on the Callaghan Innovation website.
