I am originally from Bristol, UK. I moved to Aotearoa, New Zealand, in 1977. I have travelled extensively and settled in Waipu with my husband and parents on a lifestyle property over five years ago. I have previously lived in London, Wellington, Auckland and Mangawhai.
My career has mostly been in the education sector (The University of Auckland and NorthTec), and I’ve enjoyed connecting with people and creating memorable events. My skills cover event management, marketing, and stakeholder engagement, including the rewarding task of coordinating both international and national delegations.
My newly created role is to host inward investment delegations to Northland | Te Tai Tokerau, coordinating activity across all four Northland councils and relevant agencies to advance both international and national investment in our region.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about renovating (and currently studying interior décor), gathering with friends and whanau, and exploring some of Northland’s magical beaches. These moments bring me joy and inspire my creativity.
