Destination Management Plan
A 5th Generation Northlander, I was born and raised on a dairy farm in the Kaipara. After a few years outside the region, my family and I have put down roots in Whangārei.
Destination Management is a relatively new concept within the New Zealand tourism space and the Taitokerau Northland Destination Management Plan (TNDMP) looks to shift Taitokerau Northland into a new way of thinking about how we view the visitor ecosystem and what things will look like for the future. My role involves supporting this aspiration and facilitating the implementation of actions outlined in the TNDMP.
When I’m not chasing after my toddler, you will find me in front of a sewing machine whipping up something new to wear to work.
