Kia ora, ko Ben Chapman tōku ingoa. My ancestors settled in Nelson, and while I grew up there, I have lived most of my adult life in Otago with short stints studying and working abroad.
My background spans horticulture, tourism and business development and advisory services. I'm here to aid the sustainable growth of Tai Tokerau's tourism sector and support our Regional Tourism Organisation team members, our tourism operators and stakeholders.
When not at work you'll find me at the Whangārei Growers Market, drinking coffee, walking beaches or riding my motorbike up the coast.
