I grew up on the banks of the Hokianga Harbour, and after living in a number of other parts of the world, have happily returned to Whangarei.
I have worked across central and local government, working closely with government, industry, and regional partners to support business growth, capability and investment outcomes, with a background in economic development, private sector enterprise level broadcast technology sales in New Zealand and Australia, and through a range of governance roles across community, small business, and Māori organisations, including my own businesses.
I'm a lifetime sailor, happy working on a boat, or exploring the harbours and coastline of Te-Ika-A-Maui. Otherwise I'll be spending time with family, buried in a project, or on an adventure somewhere.
