Born in Queenstown, raised in the Bay of Plenty, a decent stretch overseas, and after fifteen years in Wellington, the beautiful North has captured my heart. We found a piece of paradise on a maunga overlooking Whangarei Heads that we've called home since 2014 and now it's hard to imagine ourselves anywhere else.
I wear several hats at Northland Inc including Food & Beverage Ambassador, Project Manager - Shared Food Grade Manufacturing Facilities Project and Business Activator at Mahinga Innovation Centre.
I'm an entrepreneur at heart and as such have accumulated experience in a wide range of areas from hospitality and tourism, communications, project management and strategy, to event management and logistics. I'm a passionate foodie and the food and beverage scene in Tai Tokerau pulled me in since first arriving. I now find myself intrinsically connected, inspired by the potential and very proud to be part of the journey.
When not enjoying good food, you’ll find me with hands in the dirt with a developing love of gardening, catching up with friends or soaking in some salt air at the beach.
